Check on this forum for PNP paper based applications 2020.

It seems that only self employed applications are hybernating. They are processing paper based applications for PNP who applied in 2020. We have to raise the voice.... Even on saturdays they received response.

I don't think we can do anything right now but wait. I read this just a while ago in an article:

Immigration Program Updates
The Government of Canada has also put in place special measures to account for disruptions in processing new and pending immigration applications.

According to these measures, no application in progress will be closed or refused due to a lack of documentation or non-compliance. Applications are continuing to be processed, but delays are to be expected. All applicants are encouraged to submit all required documentation as soon as possible to avoid further delays.

Until further notice, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) offices may continue to request any additional documents necessary for processing to continue in relation to all citizenship and immigration applications, including requests for police certificates, biometrics, passports, and medical examinations.

I sent my application on Apr 23 via EMS from China, and It was delivered on Jun 2. Quite long due to the impact of COVID-19. Also, Not received AOR yet.

Hi everyone,
I hope you are all safe. We are going to apply for this program in November under 5241 NOC.
My question is a bit sensitive...
So I had a company between 2014-2016. Now it is under liquidation. May the officer seek in the internet, make an investigation on our company. Has he/she got access the foreign goverment / tax office inside page?
The reason about the liquidation is quiet simple nothing harmful, nothing against the law, just I don't wan to make the officer suspicious about me... I thing it won't look good. I can explain for him/her but if he/she doesn't ask, don't want to be rejected.
Thank you very much in advance, if anybody has information about it.

They don't have access to the tax office. But they will do an online search about what you submitted.

I submitted in January 23rd 2020 and I got AOR and Biometrics instruction on Jan 29th. Since then no info yet.

Dear All,
I'm applying via self employed visa program as a freelance writer.

my query is

I've changed name from Deepak Mishra to Abhiman Niimain after completion of my engineering in 2001. In 2015 I joined MBA

So in my engineering degree and marksheet I've the name "Deepak Mishra" but in my MBA marksheet the name is Abhiman Niimain. Ive all the proof of my name change.

So how shall I fill the WES form for evaluation.

My AOR is Feb 14, 2020. Biometrics done March 13, 2020. Just waiting...no word since March 13. NOC 5121 Author and Writer. Self-employed PR application from USA

What documents did you send as income proof. In India most of the time small film prodecers pay in cash. I'm a script writer

I am not sure this is the actual AOR or whether this is some sort of a new PRE-AOR due to COVID, as the application number is temporary.

Application Received at Nova Scotia: 2nd July 2020
AOR: 14th January 2021

Application Received at Nova Scotia: 2nd July 2020
AOR: 14th January 2021

That's not an actual AOR as:
1) you can't link up this TA# with your GCKey account
2) it's stated that no completeness check has been carried out yet.

You'll receive an 'actual' Application number later on.
