Where do we find our “local office” and contact info?

Well for me, there is only one local office in the UK - London. They will send your application to your local office, wherever that is. I don't know for you in USA as there will be multiple.

Hello everyone,
Do you know how can I contact an officer and get updates on my case if I only have a temporary AOR? I submitted the documents on paper in July 2020 and since then there has been no news other than a temporary AOR. A year ago I tried to contact via webform, as I changed my place of residence, moved from Russia to Turkey, but no one answered me. Since then, I've moved again and I don't understand what's going on with my application at all. This is very exhausting, considering that we literally have nowhere to go now.

so sorry to hear about your situation. most of the 2020 applicants received AOR already. you must contact them via phone call or ask for a GCMS note from a Canadian citizen inside Canada

2022 Jun - AOR
2022 Aug - Medical passed, Birth certificate request of all family
2023 Jun - Police Certificate, past 10 years work and travel history of all family, Proof of Funds, and Schedule A request.

I thought medicals were good for 1 year. Why did you have to do them again?

I never gave medical again, but it appeared passed at two different dates.
Also I forgot 2023 Jun they requested Proof of Funds.

Does this means i am approved for PR?
My Biometrics was already done in 2020 for business visit. That is why didn’t asked me for biometrics again.

aonther one from July 2019 got second medical request on 25 June

it Seems IRCC has been clearing old files.

I also heard one from Feb 2021 got Pre Arrival recently, but haven't seen any proof.

I have been following these forums for 2 years now. I think the processing time totally depends on the completeness of the application. I have seen a few cases who got PR in a year and half because they submitted a complete application. I have seen a few people who have not even done their IELTS and submitted their application and some don't bother to submit police certificates at start. I think these are the reasons their applications were delayed. Not sure though I am very positive about my application and I am hoping to get the PR in 1-2 years. Fingers crossed

i wish other countries processed as fast as Hong Kong.
