I think the company is not a must-have but it does help to prove that you are doing self employment work. Also, I feel that it will boost your application if you have been paying taxes as well while doing all these work as a self-employed.

For example, I had to incorporate a company name when I started doing my work full time as a self employed, so that I could buy industrial vehicles to do my work. In Singapore a registered company is needed to buy such vehicles such as a van or a pickup. Needless to say taxes also have to be rightly paid, otherwise they would cease my company or vehicles, etc...

From pakistan too...live in UAE.
I sent them selection of my work (portfolio) which i did in various countries.+ my website etc.
Did not send them any trade licenses, nor did they ask for it.

Register your name with FBR and get an NTN certificate. It will help with your application in thr future incase they need to see legal standing.
I got my NTN certificate. in 2 days.
My UAE trde license is also valid.
But as i said i did not submit it with my application.
All immigration officers are different.

Aor to PPR was 5-6 months for me.

I sent everything with the application - Police Cs from all countries, IELTS, Degrees ECA, paid all fees in advance...Etc..
So pre-application preparation took me 3-4 months.

Also i think they process families quicker than single individuals...

It always helps if your spouse has done IELTS and scored OK in it.

What is your NOC and IELTS score? You are Bachelors? Also is your company registration old? assuming you sent just portfolio first then registered your company? TIA.

Masters.
Ielts: 8 band
Same NOC: graphic designer
Company has been registered for many years but overall 20 years experience in graphic design - which i mentioned in my application

Are ECA required for education degrees? I don't think it was mentioned anywhere in the application guide. Has everyone here sent ECA for their education? Or just copies of certificates and transcripts?
