Your spouse from Israel ? and the visa office is Tel Aviv !
Processing time at Tel Aviv is normally 8 months for spousal case and once application received at overseas office its stepped for initial review i.e checking of documents, medicals, and payments and if everything is in order than Back ground checks and decision made, just for your info extensive BC is done for applicants from Israel. (ratio of BC varies from 6 to 9 months)
So overall you can expect your spouse visa before Jan 2012.
Yes my husband going through the Tel Aviv office, but he's actually palestinian..so i'm pretty positive that, that makes it worse. But when he got them 2 police reports, one from palestine and one from israel, so either way he's not into anything political.
Im actually being very patient, relaxing, and I always try to keep in mind the worse not the best....lol...that way im never disapointed. My 1 year anniversary is coming up December 25th sooooo I'm reaaaaally hoping he's here by then....
Ofcourse I understand why they need to do intensive BC/S checks on especially men from that country, it's for the safety of Canada, but I just hope they finish it up soon.
thanks for the good wishes and good luck to everyone whose still waiting to be reunited with thier loved ones.
