Yes good to know! I would like to know why mamoo would get a request for a job letter etc, arent these things supposed to be in your original application?
it seems like he has not included enough supporting documents with the application and as a result of which VO was not able to decide if he is financially stable to afford a family of 4.

yes but what makes a person financially stable if spousal sponsors are LICO exempt? for example, I have 4 children, plus myself and am sponsoring my husband. My income is under 7,000 a year. But we function just fine without government assistance. It's a bit puzzling.
in his case his kids are from the first marriage..and I believe there could be the issue other than financial stability on his case.
And I think this letter is from the VO but not the CPC-M. So He must have got approved for the sponsorship from CPC M already.
There was a post on this forum few days back where an application was refused at VO level after the interview due to Financial instability of the sponsor.
as far as my case is concerned even though I had no income when I mailed in my application, I enclosed my previous pay stubs and had more than enough balance in my Bank accounts which was more than enough to support myself and my wife for a year even if we do not make money!!

Well the person in question said in a previous post they got laid off and was on EI, EI doesn't make u ineligible but being on EI and trying to bring 3 ppl in the country IMO is not a good look so that could possibly be why they said no, because EI is 1 step away from welfare bcuz once they run out and u r not working where r u gonna get ur money from
true true @ ked
@ kuku well I dont have a penny in my bank account, so feel free to share

I had to return half of the amount to those who supported me to make the balance..

Smart move Kuku.....lmaoooo
I am also an example of a sponsor who got approved without income. As my partner and I are both students and I had been living in Germany (and not working) for a year, I did a lot of research on why people are rejected on financial grounds. It seems that each case is taken individually and the most important thing to show is that you have some sort of plan of how to support yourself. Whether that means you have savings in the bank, you are applying for jobs, you plan to live with family members until you get on your feet, or all of the above, you have to show the CPC-M and the VO. Each case is individual, and you have to make the strongest case for YOUR situation.
THE LETTER SUPPORTED BY MY EMPLOYMENT LETTER, PAYSTUBS, LETTER FROM CO WHERE I AM DOING PART TIME CLEANING SERVICES, TD BANK LETTER SHOWING BALANCE, APPROVED LINE OF CREDIT,BANK STATEMENT, 2 AFFIDAVITE FROM MY FREINDS SHOWING THEIR WILLINGNESS TO SUPPORT US IN CASE WE REQUIRED,MY OWN AFFIDAVITE CONFIRMING THAT I HAVE ENOUGH INCOME TO SUPPORT MY FAMILY WITHOUT RESORTING TO GOVT AID, PRINTOUT OF JOB SEARCH WHICH MY WIFE WAS DOING ON WEB, INFORMATION DOCUMENTS FROM PEEL SCHOOL BOARD FOR ADMISSION PROCEDURES IN SCHOOL FOR MY KIDS.
I m thinking that the fact that kids are involed might be why they are tougher here... It s one thing to have no money in the bank and sponsoring an adult... But this is different....
That said these proofs seemed good enought. I don t see how they could ignore this.
I have a stable job, no money in the bank.. If anything i have acumulated debts during this whole process that has been very costly with the traveling, long distance bills, fees for internaional courriers and all the fees paid for the application and the certificates required...from a financial stand point this has not been good for me.
Yea. Saralune, same with me and I have 4 children of my own, but I am sponsoring my husband, so I hope they see he needs to come to help us as a family. He has no dependants there, and I dont support him financially, so if immigration thinks that I need a bag of cash in the bank they are joking. He is hard working, so there should be a smooth transition here. I am going to just have faith in the truth that we are a real family/marriage, and hopefully our proof, not our money shows that. By the way, all this stuff ppl stating they sent bank letters etc, I didnt send none of that. I have no savings, and I would never "get" any friends saying they will support us lol..wow that would be a stretch! So I guess we shall see how my case comes out! Cuz I am broke!
Onething happened after I received this letter from Visa officer the online status of my wife applicatio is no more there. They also removed the
online status of mykids but it came online after few days Can anybody comments on that.
If you are talking about ecas, I wouldn't put any stock in it, it is notoriously unreliable. Don't pay too much attention to anything that happens there.
