Canadian Schooling system "As an immigrating parent, understanding Canada's school system is of fundamental importance -- especially due to the gradation structure, age considerations & varieties available. If you're coming from the UK, it's very different and can be a confusing and often misunderstood.
Thanks a ton for such a helpful and thoughtful post.
I understand, as u mentioned, the school closes in mid May or June for Summer Holidays and reopens only in September.
Now, I will be landing in July. Are the admin staff available anytime before the school term begins or it all starts together (the school office as well as the classes) . If I can secure admission for my kid in July or August for the new academic year, he can attend the first day of school Else will have to wait till school reopens.
Any idea here?

Dear SISH7255 ,
Good day.
My two daughters I want to admit any Catholic Schools. Elder daughter is in Grade level-6 (age :11+), younger is in now grade level 1 (age : 6+).
Now how do we can admit & from where to start ? We living in Asian country now. Some consultancy firm adviced us to contact them & giving ensure to admit both students in Canadian school, together will arrange parents visa matter too. We don't sure they can do or not. may be waste of money & time... or may be can. What to do ? Can we try to admit daughters directly to Canadian Catholic School & Can we get visa ? Pls advice.

Hello, my son will be 5.5 years old when we land in November this year. He has not been to school here in India abs has been homeschooled.
Will he admitted to Kindergarten in Canada without abs school transfer certificate?
Hi..Is it mandatory to produce transfer certificate at the time of admission or any other document that substantiates is sufficient because I don't want to take TC from the home country school until I land in Canada and this is mainly because of the travel uncertainties due to covid.
