Any folks here have experience getting a rescheduled date for test in the scarborough office?

I couldnt attend mine in August and am waiting for a new date. Curious to know the experiences of fellow members here. How long does it take etc?

Usually it takes round two month but at the time Scarbrough office is busy as many Mississauga office applicants transferred here so it may be some late in every matter . Soon you will hear good news. Regards

Thanks. Thats what i am hearing as well. Although the call center says upto 6 months. Online it said around 2 weeks+.

It will reach 2 months next week. Hopefully some good news after that!

My sister in law's husband had test scheduled in April he was gone for a month on vacation and informed CIC, but they scheduled him anyway. On return he contacted them and got his re-test date on October 3rd finally. So it really depends on who has the file and how much backlog they are dealing with.

Sounds like in the case that you mentioned, it went by what the call center folks say i.e it can take up to 6 months..

Pretty much but on the flipside he got his OATH letter in 2 weeks after test, so I guess if your application has been long in the system the gap between Test and Oath is reduced. It was the Scarborough Office.

Thats good to know! Do you know if the notice to appear for the test in October indicated if it was the 'first notice' or the final notice (i.e CIC didnt accept the reason for missing the test)

His was Final Notice
