Hello! Has anybody had to do fingerprints after the before test? If so, Please tell me how long it can taker to get the citizenship Test and Oath after the fingerprints is done?
If anyone has the same problem and received any feedback from CIC regarding test, Please advise me the timeline.
Hi everyone, just wanted to update the Scarborough group with some good news - today my husband got his oath notification in the mail! May 13 at 10:30am. Ecas not updated yet just fyi.

my timeline is as following and I did my test in Scarborough
1.We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on August 1, 2013.
2.We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on August 1, 2013. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
3.We started processing your application on October 7, 2013.
4.We sent you a notice on January 16, 2014 to appear and write the citizenship test on February 5, 2014 at 1:30 PM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
5.We sent you a notice on April 28, 2014 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on May 21, 2014 at 10:30 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

Strange, fingerprints are not going to change every year isn't it? Like Background checks. It makes sense or understandable to request clearances because they wanted them be up to date.. But Fingerprints??
