Road trip to the states, so the certificate will suffice over the land borders. I'll probably go straight from the ceremony to the airport to update NEXUS. At least, I'm assuming that I can update with the certificate first and then with the passport when I get it.

With NEXUS I'm not sure. I know they said to wait 2-3 business days for the fact that you are a citizen updated in the system before applying for the passport.

my application is single. I am not alone there is a couple of august applicants also waiting for Oath Invite,I believe we all had the same lazy agent who give us DM and forget about our file.

My application was very simple, I haven’t leave Canada for 6 years prior to filling and I don’t have one of those name that share much with other People no problem with the law. I believe that agent was given my file because it was simple but some people are lazy like a slow cooker.

Here is my story

1. Application sent for Canadian citizenship on October 19, 2017
2. received application on October 25, 2017.
3. acknowledgement on December 5, 2017.
4. started processing on January 2, 2018.
5. Rvd email on January 29, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on February 21, 2018
6. Rvd email on June 14, 2018 to appear and take the oath of citizenship on July 4, 2018 at 1:00 PM. (Scarborough)

I think both email or snail mail are possible, keep checking both and if you don't receive anything the next few days - then you have a legit reason to call IRCC

Probably, but difficult to tell - as there are also ceremonies scheduled in North York every once in a while. Hopefully they will update the website tomorrow - currently it only shows up to July-01st

I got mine by regular old snail mail.

Of course, the test invite was via email, and the FP request was via snail mail, so you never know what you're gonna get.

October 2017 applicant.. Completed my Ceremony on Saturday June 16th, waiting till Wednesday to apply for passport..
