My mom had the interview (55+) on the same day as you on May 10, and I have not seen any updates on ECAS. Have you?

I called CIC and they indicated that DM is not always done on ecas - your mom would have to call them to know if she is in line for the oath. I would give them 2 more weeks then call...

Well they already began a while ago, we know of a few that received their Oath. What didn't happen yet is the "big wave of invites" for October applicants - is that what you are referring to?

So I decided to call IRCC after waiting 31 minutes got through just to hear that my application is showing in process before I was told I am waiting for Oath they sit an my application so long they probably have to do background check again. I am so piss of but eventually one day in this century it’s going to happen.

Yes, but the agent has the same format to answer the callers " you are in 12 months process timeline " that was their answers for each call !!!

True, either they don't know more info/don't see more than what we see on ECAS...or they are trained to "manage the client's expectations"

There were only few "exceptions" from October to get Oath invitation... Be patient and let all the people from July August and September to get their citizenship

Really feel bad for you guys from July.. Hope there is some good reason for the delay. dont get frustrated too much and ruin your day to day life.

Totally agree. October 23 is too early to feel bad now.. there are so many people ahead of you still waiting.

I looked at the spreadsheet again... 5 people that applied in October and were assigned to Scarborough office have their oath invitation already, one already had their ceremony on May 12th...
This is not fair...

Five out of so many is nothing really, I am one of the October applicants and still waiting like the rest of us.

At least I know now not to get excited when ever I get an email or check ecas for awhile.
