I will like to thank you all for the communication and helping to keep sanity. I am almost going crazy from checking Ecas and the forum 3/4 times daily but this wave of Sept/Oct applicants and new judges has given me great hope

I reside North or Newmarket (East Gwillimbury) and my file was sent to Scarborough ..

I travel a lot for business after PR (2011) and I could not make up the eligibility date. I fInally applied Oct 22/17 under the new rule.

My interview was about 30-45min as I had 3 full passports and ridiculous amount of stamps.. My interviewer became tired of asking questions as I was fully prepared with detailed transcripts of my travels

Below is my timetable, Pls update the spread sheet accordingly

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on October 26, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on December 1, 2017.
3. We started processing your application on December 13, 2017.
4. We sent you a notice on January 15, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on February 9, 2018 at 11:45 AM.

Before being introduced to this forum, I was going crazy with all sorts of misinformation.
I’d had my test & DM & was rushing everyday to my mailbox expecting my oath.
I was sure something had gone wrong.
Only after I joined this forum did I get a better understanding of timelines and what to expect.
I also stopped feeling so alone, in the knowledge that many were in the same boat.
There were many highs and lows, but I had hope watching people getting their oath one by one.
So, for all those who are anxiously awaiting their oaths, it’ll happen, sooner than ours as there are so many new judges.
Take heart.
And for all the champion members and others, thank you from the bottom of my heart

My mom had the interview (55+) on the same day as you on May 10, and I have not seen any updates on ECAS. Have you?

7th June at 11 AM. I am September applicant and oath is in Scarborough .
I am happy that my journey is almost to be completed.
I very humbly thank you all for keeping hopes alive all along in this journey.
Admin please update my status. I wish best of luck to all friends who are still waiting.

Strange that it says, “We sent you a letter on May 15th...”, whereas it came on May 22nd.
A similar date discrepancy took place when we got our invite for the test.
Considering they were both via email, it should have been on the same date as I received it.
Either way, much relief that it’s finally happening

Mine is similar... It says the notice was sent on May 18th, yet we received it via email yesterday - May 22nd...
Emails don't take days to arrive

As far as I understand people over 55 who was not tested and minor children do not show DM - they go straight to oath -
