I don’t understand why they wouldn’t asked when doing interview if you want Oath closer to where you live. I live in Scarborough I don’t have a choice I been waiting almost 6 months after DM for Oath Invite.

Yes, I did ask. All she said is oh you are september 2017 applicant we have until September 2018 to get you oath invite .. lol wth?

Well I wish my file was in Mississauga I probably would have finish with this process already.

Updated the tracker. Do you know your In-process date and test invite date as per e-cas?

I recieved my test invite on 10th of may but the online status is not yet updated as of today the 15th.

Timeline: applied end of September, got a confirmation letter somewhere in November, end of January - I did the test and finally got convocation letter for oath for June 1, although on the website I'm still "in process". OK, saga will be over for me soon.

@rajmalhotra7 please update this in tracker.. need to know exact dates.

what documents do they usually checks in the interview after the citizenship tests??? how decent or indecent they behaves with you??? please share experiences.

Like others have said, take all the originals of the documents you sent with your application. To be safe, take all relevant information you have based on your application. Remember your original passport even if it is expired.
I found them courteous.

My test center is Scarbrough September 2017 Candidate.. I did my test on May 7 and DM on May 8.

Any idea when possibly the oath invite be?

Letter will arrive in August and your oath will be in September.

If ecas hasn't updated by the time you do your test, mention it during the interview. It would simply mean someone didn't update the system. You have the invitation, that's what's important.

It means they are taking your consent that in case if the event is covered by the media, you are allowing them to include you in it. Otherwise, if you dont then they will exclude you from that. Thats what happens school going kids often when they have an event inside or outside the school. the school sends the media release letter to the parents to sign.
