I appeared for the test on Oct 24, 2017 Scarborough. Got 20/20 and the officer told me that I will get the oath letter in January 2018. Still waiting.

I think you wanted to say May candidates. One of the June candidate I know also got his oath done from Scarborough. So most likely they are clearing up May and have started on June.

Of course, this is for regular applicants who did not get an RQ during the process. Special circumstances may be there that may cause delay for some applicants. But I think at natural pace they are in June candidates now.

March 2017? Wow..i just passed my test a couple of days ago in Scarborough ...looks it will be a very long wait for Oath !!

Here is my timeline

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on August 31, 2017.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on October 4, 2017.
We started processing your application on October 17, 2017.
We sent you a notice on December 22, 2017 to appear and write the citizenship test on January 19, 2018 at 8:15 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

I gave my test in Scarborough and I was told that i cleared the test and was congratualed was asked to wait for the Letter of Oath Ceremony.

But have not received one yet. Is this normal?

can we sue Scarborough office? They took in missisauga applicants earlier when Missisauga was short of staff and now people applied in aug in Missisauga is getting oath and scarborough people not moving at all!

I know right maybe you will get invite for March month. If only we were in Calgary we will all have our Oath by now.

Mississauga applicants aren't enjoying at Scarboruogh as well. June applicant, they transferred my file to Scarbourogh and now they don't have any oath for us.

If Mississauga People's files transferred to Scarbourogh, Why can't Scarborough people take Oath at Mississauga? Completely Unfair and Unsual.
