My 4 family members applied individually for citizenship and all of them got test invite and oath in Mississauga office. Only me got test invite in Scarborough office on 9th Jan which I passed.
Why I got test in Scarborough though my address is in Brampton? And should I expect Oath in Scarborough or Mississauga?

I think it is all about where they send your file for processing. and because you wrote the test in Scarborough, you can most likely expect the Oath in Scarborough..

That's been happening recently because of how overloaded GTA CPCs are. Your test and oath could be at different locations. But, AFAIK, we do not get to choose where it is.

Today received Oath ceremony invite for Jan 30 at Scarborough... DM on JAN 05, 2018..Test was JAN 03......Applied JUNE 01, 2017

It seems like that CIC is now just going to start with June applications from Scarborough for oath. On excel sheet, for the month of May 2017, all but one application from Scarborough have done oath.

They are going by the time we applied; not by the time we had taken our test.

Last known oath was from a candidate who submitted his application on June 1st 2017. So June applicant, be more vigilant. You should get your letter anytime soon now.

I noticed that in the excel sheet most of the early oath getters are from different centers.

I had my citizenship test on December 18 2017 and passed the exam but still my ecas is IP and nothing received concerning the oath is that normal.

Have you ordered GCMS notes on your file ? I would think if status is still IP, that means your background checks may not have completed yet.

Can't be sure of that. Some people's oath invites were cancelled recently, and their applications went back in process.

Only way to know is to order the notes.

Unless you have categorically asked the CO about the security clearance, it is not certain for sure that security clearance has been completed. You being in IP after a successful test means your background check is still in process considering you have not got any RQ during the interview.

Mine is in progress since october 2017. So don't worry you are not alone

My ECAS shows "DECISION MADE" today.
My test was on January 09th in Scarborough.
Waiting for oath letter now.
