Not sure if I understand.. so they said your case is approved but likely they screw up the scheduling so they have to reschedule?
I did notice Scarborough doesn't any ceremony scheduled for Dec 15 afternoon but only two in the morning.

yes the lady said you are approved but the reason they called and cancelled is because the whole ceremony was cancelled that afternoon as y i have found to be true ...that only friday afternoon only !!!!

Gotcha.. so at least, that's a better situation than clearance not complete as that could take months..

i just hope so that this this the situation and its not me with a problem on top of the cancellation of the whole ceremony ...the guy that called me said he didn't want to call me next week so i guess everyone scheduled for 1pm will also be cancelled ..hope they see my post
Oh, great. Another cancellation by the Scarborough office, only this time, it is the whole ceremony that has been cancelled. Not only we now have to worry that IRCC may require to conduct extra background check, we also have to wonder whether our ceremony times would be cancelled (for heavens know what reason), since it's now also a possibility. It seems to be happening only to those invited for ceremonies at the Scarborough center though, so hopefully it's isolated only to this location.
Background checks are comprised of security, criminality and police certificates. Police certificates, by themselves, only form parts of the whole background check procedure.
