My app was with the Scarborough office and I got a Canada Day oath invite, but I do not yet know the location Time in ecas is for 12:30pm, but I did not see a ceremony scheduled for that time anywhere in Ontario. Looks like it is coming via regular mail, not email, so I will wait and see!

Did you guys give consent to IRCC to release your name (s) to Elections Canada and the local MP when you signed your applications?
"Check the boxes if you authorize IRCC to provide your personal information to:
Your federal Member of Parliament (MP)
Elections Canada"
I'm wondering if that's 'a' prerequisite or trigger to receiving the oath invitation for July 1 or local civic or community centre ceremonies such as the one in Markham, ON (where the local MP will be present).

Yes, I have given but I do not think this is a criteria for Canada Day ceremonies... it is the random selection from Oath scheduling queue on that point of time...

Nah, selecting that option doesn't mean anything other than that IRCC will notify both about your becoming a citizen (AFTER you have taken the oath).
Once you've completed the oath ceremony that is.
