The best news for me, I have received email from Canada Visa Office that my passports are ready to collect .
I'm hoping that your passports are ready also since you submitted on the same day. This will give you peace of mind to travel tomorrow.
I'm planning to move to Canada by the end of July 2016.
I will be wrapping up things from here in Riyadh then go to Pakistan in June and then move to Canada.
Wrapping up would be selling my stuff in Riyadh, sending stuff to Canada and some to Pakistan.
Will there be any issues if I go through Pakistan? I will be carrying money/bonds and things that I will take with us to Canada. Some help in this regard would be very appreciated.

I am planning to move to Toronto permanently by 3rd week of April. I need to know if anybody has sent cargo via sea routes or used any air freight services. I need to send cargo but I cannot find any services for Toronto.
I have send cargo from Dammam to Toronto in January through KLM...it took two weeks to reach here.
Then you have to collect in person from the customs.
Hope it helps.

KLM, the airline you're talking about; isn't it expensive to send goods through them? And I believe there must be extra charges if we keep them in customs for longer period of time (I'll be staying in Pakistan for around two months).

Welcome,
Well...Try to find some cargo agents in your area...the rates are reasonable. Negotiate with them.
Yeah, you can't leave there for long ... custom ppl will charge per day...in $$
Please let me know if you have any questions...
All the best

Do you think those door-to-door service can send goods to Canada? I think they just do pakistan, india, bangladesh.

By the way approximately how much per kg, did it cost you? And whether there was any customs duty in Canada you have to pay on personal goods that you shipped through cargo? Are there any additional charges you paid in Canada while receiving goods, in addition to per kg charge that you paid in Saudi. could you please provide this useful information for everyone else benefit.
You made it sound so easy Princess ZS, Thank you.
I will definitely check with one with whom I sent some stuff to Pakistan twice. If he doesn't then perhaps he will guide me where to go.
Well...you should have minimum 60kg @ 20Riyal/kg approx. to start with additional / kg charges.
There is no custom duty on any goods u bring first time..
dont forget to declare your money n u may write more to come, if u have property back home.
There are charges if luggage is left there for more than two days , I think (100$/day)
Hope it helps...
