Thanks Destnation Canada and Dhaka 2014. I'm still reluctant to got to the police head Office as my profession in iQama si not matched with my actual profession here, everytime government is checking our workplace we are advised by our HR to go home because of this issue. Do you guys really think that this is still an issue with the Saudi Government? Please advise.
Man don't worry. Police department has nothing to do with that. It is all with Labor Ministry and Jawazat who are concerned about that.
I can assure you that Police Department will never ask you what do you do exactly.
The office you will go is only making sure that you don't have a criminal record by matching your fingerprints with their database. They will not ask you anything. You just give them the letter from embassy, they will only ask you to put your fingerprints on the form (or on the machine) then give you a slip to come back on a certain date. No single discussion about anything else.
The guy only typed my name, nationality, Iqama number, Iqama issue date, Gender, Religion, the requested authority (Canadian Embassy), purpose (Immigration). (all in Arabic).
Trust me, there is nothing to be afraid of.

I Agree with Dhaka2014, you dont have to worry albertoenriquezjr, they will only give you what CIC asked for, and that is Criminal records, if you are ok, then then will give u a clean PCC, nothing more or less, police dept. will not investigate nor they have time to check with your CO., even Polices knows in saudi we dont work according to our iqama profession, so dont hesitate and finalize with your PCC process. best of luck.

This depends on your visa office.
For LVO, they have started processing some applicants of 8th May.
Some other VOs even issued visas for the same date applicants.
I recommend that you spend 5 minutes looking at the spreadsheet to see the trend for your application date and visa office.
I believe NOC doesn't make a difference at all. NOC was checked at CIC to match job description. Local VO will not prioritize processing applications based on NOC order.

Hello Guys,
I need your guidance in filling the main applicant form. Under Current Country of Residence when we select Saudi Arabia and status as WORKER we need to specify the from and to dates. But since i'll still be working while I send the application to CIC; what should be written in the 'to' date?
Appreciate your help.

Current date of form filling...
Hi,
I am a FSW 2011 applicant, I applied from Pakistan and submitted my file to Sydney, Nova Scotia after that I traveled to Saudi Arabia on a work visa in 2013 till now,
Furthermore I informed LVO that i moved to Saudi and also sent them my visa page and Saudi PR card copies via Email. Meanwhile i sent all my family members medical from Saudi Arabia on 10-12-2013
During all this process I also sent updated forms in which i wrote my present Saudi address but i kept my mailing address unchanged that was of Pakistan.
Now before a week i got an email from visa office which they asked me to send my Updated information Chart along all family members PP copies, which I sent them.
Now i just confused that will the visa office ask me to submit the PP from Pakistan OR from Saudi Arabia???
since me and my job both are working here in Saudi and it will extremely difficult for us in case CIC asked us to submit your PP from Islamabad (Pak).
I need an advice and help to what to do in this stage??? should I write an email to visa office or just wait for further procedure???

Hi Friends,
Since I am a Pakistani living in Saudi for almost 13 years, do I have to submit PCC from both Saudi and Pakistan?
Regards,
SK

Yes bro. You will have to submit PCC for every country that you have stayed for 6 months or more since your 18th birthday.
That's the general rule. In rare cases, VO might make an exception incase it is really difficult to get a PCC if you finally left that country.
