The in demand occupation list for the SINP is also devoid of engineering occupations. For civil engineering, NOC 2131, the Nova Scotia PNP is an option, as that NOC is on their list of ‘Opportunity Ocupations.’

Nova Scotia doesnt have any IT related NOC in opportunity list.

It's unfortunate to those who have already applied for licensing.

What other options are now for IT people with NOC 2175 and 0213 ?

Note that this program does not require a job offer but does require ties to the province. Further, ties to other provinces such as having worked there or having lived there result in a reduction of points on their selection grid.

466 Express Entry EOI candidates invited to apply

Score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 68 points

All EOI's had Educational Credential Assessments (required document for applications).

Please note that the SINP limits the selection of EOIs by occupation by fiscal year so that nominees with positive employment prospects in Saskatchewan are selected and nominations do not exceed employment demand.
As a result, in 2018-19 the following occupations have been removed from the SINP In-Demand Occupation List:

• Engineering Managers;
• Manufacturing Managers;
• Utilities Managers;
• Civil Engineers;
• Computer Engineers;
• Software Engineers and Designers;
• Web Designers and Developers;
• Landscape and Horticulture Technicians and Specialists;
• Electronic Service Technicians (household and business equipment);
• Economists and Economic Policy Researchers and Analysts.

Advise to people applying for CIPS or APEGS licence, dont waste your money in licence. SINP dont need IT public for FY2018-2019. They have removed the IT related NOCs from the Occupation in Demand List.

Do we need to submit the license as the part of documents only?
Also, Do we need the license for both me and my spouse as she is also in IT 2173?
Approximately, how much time does it take to get the license as we have to submit the docs within 60 days?

1st draw in September, 2nd draw in october .

They conducted First draw in august.

You can apply without license but in this case, your application will be on hold till you get license.
This is mentioned on Saskatchewan website.

Saskatchewan support or licensing authority can give proper answer on time required to get it but usually it takes longer.
