Hi I’m trying for pR and my crs is low. My friend told me if I can get a job offer letter it will boost my score, also I heard there are many consultancy agencies which sell LMIA approved job offer letter for somewhat around CAD 10,000. Is it risky to buy a one like that? Pls help need advice. One of the person has done like that and now he is going to apply for PR through it. Kindly let me know what are the consequences of this and is this illegal to do?
A few lucky ones have gotten PPRs within a week or so after submission. Usually, for most of the people it takes 30-40 days on an average to get PPR after ADR submission and then comes “specially chosen unlucky ones” like you and me who do not even get an acknowledgment after 30 odd days and it takes 3-4-5 months.
No one can predict these guys. I guess we can only hope that our case officer would get off the right side of the bed some morning.
Good luck!

I think they are taking longer for applications where Eligibility is either in Not Started or Review Required bucket. Do you know the current status of your eligibility?

Yes you are right, most are getting PPR within 6 weeks after submitting ADRs but for a few it is taking much longer. I'm wondering if the issue is that the applicants facing delays have their Eligibility in Review Required status, perhaps? Maybe they are putting applications with RR status in a separate queue for senior officers to review and hence it is taking longer to get an acknowledgement in these cases.

I got my GCMS notes and in that, there is “application assignment due date”. What does this mean?
To give context, I have submitted ADR on 07 May 2022 and received an acknowledgement for the same on 20 May 2022. Does application acknowledgment due date mean I’ll receive RFV before that date?
