That's scary. Is there anyone else who received RQ in 2014 that went to St Clair yet?

If it is a full blown RQ, it will be sent to st claire as it is the only office in toronto assessing the RQ.

Not so fast. It took a month to move your RQ to st claire. For my case, it took 1/2 year for CIC to update my records to indicate that my file was moved to st claire.

I see, thanks. What is your timeline? Assuming you sent your RQ to Scar. office.

But hope to hear something good soon. ;D :D

Can anyone tell me why they got RQed? Does CIC asked to provide specific documents after RQ or you need to provide as much as document possible for them to proof that you lived here? Thanks

I want to know anyone who got RQ after submitting his application. is RQ applicants directly handled by judge bypass an officer.? or all applications RQ or non RQ both handled by officer

both cases officer review the file and than if needed pass for judge hearing or
judge decision.

So I just confirmed with CIC that my file has been transfered to St. Claire. Yikes! As my luck would have it, I'm transfered to the slowest bloody office. :o

Here's my timeline:

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on July 3, 2012.

We started processing your application on January 24, 2013.

RQ - March 28, 2013
RQ Sent - May 6, 2013
RQ Receipt Confirmation - May 7, 2013
RQ transfered to St. Clair - May 23, 2013

Do you know why were you given RQ?
As I see from the forum, different reasons for RQ may have different processing time.

one of my friend received RQ and on covering letter at bottom it said citizenship judge but no signature. what does that mean. pretest RQ is issued by judge?
