Has anybody else here heard anything? I called CIC today They had no new info.
Nothing from me
I contacted CIC and they told me that my files were recieved by Montreal office on MAY 7. This is so strange! So it took 3 weeks for transition of the file from Edmonton to Montreal?!

It's good that not three months

this is CIC.
Hi Guys,
I write this message with immense pleasure and delight. I got my oath letter today in mail and was utterly surprised. I saw the pink color and had two thoughts is it oath or CIC asking for more documents. Luckily it is just the oath letter for 26-May-2015. Even in this CIC has made me suffer a little. I had plans to go to US from May 27 to June 1st and now will have to cancel the trip. I thought I will be able to enjoy a trip with my dad and bro but CIC thinks otherwise.
Anyone know if I can get a same day passport? The tickets are non refundable.
I guess you cant have it all in this word. I will take this any day than to wait another 20 months. I'm not taking any chances with CIC in reschedule or postponement.
Last but not least I like to thank everyone in this forum for helping me in time of need. If not for this forum I will have not completed this journey this soon. I also wish everyone to have their application processed in faster timelines.
By the way this is not a goodbye. I'm applying for my wife on May 14-2015. I will be in this forum asking help and providing one whenever I can.
Thanks to Bambino who gave info on CEN (Montreal) and his CIC director friend is absolutely correct with 2 to 4 weeks turn around in processing.
Wow, congratulations!
That CIC official is not my friend, by the way. I suspect that to him, I was just a major pain in the rear

Conratulations! Wish me luck ... now I'm the only one left here

All the best. You will get it soon. Montreal at least for now seems to be fast. If more people are transferred it will allow down. Again the only hope is it doesn't become another st.Clair
Hi. Bambino
To day I call CIC and they told me that my local office will arranging interview
as I am 61 years old so no need for test any idea what they will ask for interview
I am waiting for 41 years old and handover all the documents with RQ.

Normal processing time with RQ is 36 months. You're case has been in process for less than a year ... please be patient!!!
Re: RQ file transferred from Scarbrough to St Claire for rq review . Anyone in same boat
Since your file is from 2014, I think your file will be processed relatively faster. Having said that it is not sure thing when you can get Oath.
If you see my file was transferred to St.Clair in Oct 2014 and stayed there till April 09 2015. Then it was shipped to Montreal. With some hell of a luck my file got processed.
I hope yours gets a luck like that too. All the best.
Your timeline is not bad June 2014 app date and you are already done with preliminary RQ review and so on. There are cases from 2011 still in pending status.
today called cic. a very polite women told me that last week my file was transferred to the local office. no indication wheather decision is made. I wonder if it s a good sign or not...
:-X :-X :-X :-X
when was your file sent and recieved by Montreal office?
april 7 was sent and received within a week.
