I wanted to create this thread so we could gather people who got a request to pay the RPRF, however with no news regarding PPR.
Anyone else in the same situation?

If you search the forum, RPRF does not gurantee PPR. It is only normal for one to get a request to pay the RPRF and few months later they may or may not get the PPR.

Every officer is different, and every visa office is different.

No one said that it is a guarantee.. I am just hoping to gather whoever is in this situation.. to create a bias..
Thank you for your positive thoughts - not...

Tell me about it. There is a huge bunch of applicants who were sent RPRFs in bulk around Oct 20th with no further movements afterward.
My GCMS notes say eligibility is not even started.

Hey, wishing you the best of luck.. I believe this thread will help us to “understand” a little on how everything is moving for people like us. I didn’t order GCMS yet (as I was super happy with this request). My letter said: in order for us to approve your application (once it stated that I was eligible for the class I applied).

Thanks.. good luck to you as well.. Mine says the same: app found eligible admissibility still ongoing... GCMS says R10 under review...
Literally couldn't believe it.

Canadaistheway, could you please share your timeline?
Mine can be found at my signature.
RPRF request on January 29th

AOR Sep 15
RPRF Oct 21

Nothing after that
I'm FSW Outland, though

Keeping my fingers crossed for you..

My got feeling about RPRF from what I have seen recently: CIC sent RPRF to outlanders right after R10 review but for inlanders they wait until the eligibility is done right before sending out the PPR. Just my feeling and could be completely wrong :)

That is a fair and valuable opinion!! I really appreciate it.. hopefully with more applicants joining this conversation we will have a better understanding of the trends for this matter..

Could be valid... My feeling though is that whenever they run out of funds to process refugees for a given month they just hit the RPRF button and money keeps pouring in.. lol

I am on almost my 10th month since ITA and paid the RPRF on Dec 7th and no update since then. It's almost been 2 months since RPRF fee was paid and wondering how much longer I'd have to wait for an update.

At time of application I was outland CEC but now I am currently in Canada since Sept and CIC is aware of that... do you guys think I would now be considered inland and timelines would change?
