If our passport is going to expire within 6 month during the waiting time for PPR, do we have to renew it before sending it for stamping or it doesn't matter as long as its valid? can anyone put some lights on this as my passport will expire on Dec 14, 2016?
You have to renew it ASAP. Immigration advises that passports must be valid for six months at the time they request for it to be submitted. If they will ask for your passport on June 15, I think it will no longer be valid. To avoid any possible delay, I suggest to renew it now.
If there are questions on your application then the VO usually asks for additional information and/or documents. Judging by the other posts on this page, it sounds like they are running a little bit behind schedule.
Sometimes you see no updates on your application after 2 or 3 months so what are the GCMS notes going to tell you.
In my opinion (because this is just my opinion and there is no right or wrong way in doing this) 5 months is fine to order them. Definately order them if your application goes over 6 months.
I was also requested to pay RPRF on 7th June. I paid following day and it will be 1 week tomorrow. Another thing when you guys got your request for payment did it say In letter that eligibility has been passed and now only security is pending?

I believe it highly depends on the category of the application as well. Lately there've been lots and lots of PNP and CEC getting pprs.
So i very much hope fsw outlands are next
Did anyone got PPR or still waiting. I have been waiting since 149 days in total from AOR and 50 days since paid RPRF.
I guess all the people from Jan AOR are on hold.
I am FSW Outland and my visa office is Ottawa. AOR 23/10/2015. RPRF paid on 23rd March 2016. Since then no update. Its frustrating to wait now. I hope to get a positive sign soon.
