I don't fully understand what your question is or why you are waiting?
I was asked to pay the RPR Fee when I received my passport request. I did it over the internet and sent in my receipt as well as a copy of my passport to CPP-Ottawa with no problem or delays?
That being said, I can't check ecas to tell me if the decision has been made... but still, i've received no information about the process being delayed.

My question was that CIC website was saying the payment is registered after 3 business days but in reading other forum links on here, most people say they have to wait 6 to 8 weeks to hear from their VO after the payment is made......I was wondering why so long.
When did you pay your fee and how soon did you hear from your VO after you paid it? That is the timelines I am wondering about. Thanks

I was requested to pay the fee at the same time they asked me for a copy of my passport. I paid my fee and sent them the requested documents (passport copy, receipt copy) on March 28th, 2013 via -email and received an e-mail back the same day day saying that they have received the documents. I haven't heard anything about my payment being registered, but I know that they have the information and assume that they've continued processing my application. I'm going to call today to get my status because ecas isn't working.
It is possible that the payment is registered but your VO hasn't contacted you, as VO's tend to lack in communication skills. If you have called the CIC and they say that the payment has been registered, I wouldn't panic about it.

Paid my RPRF in February... Haven't heard a peep out of the visa office.
To avoid 2 months delay at the end of your application it is always recommended to pay all your fees upfront if you want a speedy processing. Many applicants regretted that they didn't pay the fees upfront.

The delay for remeds is longer than whatever you may have to wait for the processing of payment. Paying upfront doesn't guarantee you anything.
