RPRF .. can some one guide me plz....

Please someone help with following simple questions:

1. Generally at what stage embassy asks for RPRF?
2. can it be submitted without embassy request to save time?
3. How long it takes after RPRF for passport request, if RPRF was paid on embassy request.
4. Do they update e-cas when RPRF is recieved? how do we get a confirmation that they have received it?

Normally its better to send the RPRF with the application.Embassy asks RPRF at the Stage 2 before or after it started processing of the application...

Yes it can if you have UCI and File Number .....

3. How long it takes after RPRF for passport request, if RPRF was paid on embassy request.

No one knows the time frame and it depends on the Visa Officer when he sends the request to submit Passport......

No they dont update on eCAS about receiving the RPRF....

I check E-cas everyday... like we all do... my E-cas changed to "in process" on Sept. 14th I received and E-mail that same day requesting the RPRF, we paid it that day... October 9th I received E-mail my case was being transferred and requesting my passport. Of course each case is different as is each IO, but according to the CIC website the RPRF is requested at the end of stage 2 processing. You can send in your RPRF without them requesting it but there have been a few people here that have done so and still got an E-mail asking for it and they had to provide their receipt so if you do pay it make sure you save a copy of the receipt even after you mail a copy of it to CPC-M. My requests was 5 days shy of a month.
