Background check is a part of the immigration process for all applicants. Therefore you need to wait. Normally it could take minimum two months up to six months. There is no specific time frame for background checks.

Hey wilson, I used to get these similar replies brfore medicals, now that my medicals are done, do you think they will start the background checks again?
or are they done once, as per my caips i know my checks were finished before meds.
