Hi

Recently I got a reference letter for tourist visa from my company, can I use the same reference letter for express entry.

Current Letter has all the details required in the CIC guidelines.

As my company might refuse to give letter for immigration, can i use the letter obtained for tourist visa.it has a line saying that this letter is issued for tourist visa.

If its not old enough, you can use that.

Will the line, “letter issued for tourist VISA” will not be a problem?
Hold on, I didn't see that "Tourist thing".

In my opinion, I will go back to my employer and get a newer one. Rest choice is yours.

It will work fine. I know someone who used an old letter that was addressed to US government (to be used in US GC process) and it worked fine for Canada PR.

Thanks guys, but my employer will never give the letter for immigration. So I will have to use the old letter mention tourist VISA.

If I will get a letter stating that the “letter is issued for applying VISA” VISA not Tourist VISA.

Will that be fine?

Is this your current employer, then it's recommended to get a letter dated within last 30 to 60 days. If its a past employer then the existing letter is fine.

As long as it’s recent and has all the required details on it, you will be fine. IRCC doesn’t ask that reference has to be issued for immigration purpose only.
