Hello all,
I am now in Canada and I will be landing soon. I have to take a trip to US after landing and I am afraid that I won't be receiving my PR card before my trip to US. I was wondering If I could come back to Canada again just using my CoPR (Confirmation of PR) or landing documents?
Thank you, :-\

No. You cannot use CoPR more than once. IF you don't get PR before you leave Canada, than there's another way to get back in. You'll have to apply for Travel Document from the embassy that deals your country or the country you are currently residing in. Check embassy website and instructions on how to apply for Travel Document.

Actually that's not true.

If you hold a passport that is visa exempt for travel to Canada, then you should have no issues re-entering from the US without a PR card or travel document.

If you hold a pssport that is not visa exempt for travel to Canada, then you can re-enter Canada using your CORP alone provided you enter via a land border using a private car (i.e. you can't use a taxi or commercial bus).

Otherwise you need a PR card or travel document to return.
