I applied for restoration of my work permit in first week of December 2021. Its been six weeks I haven't received any update from IRCC.

What is the expected time period for work permit restoration.

Right now it seems to be taking a number of months for most people. It's unfortunately hard to predict how long you may be waiting. Good luck.
