Your expired PR card shouldn’t be a factor in your US visa application.

If you look at the above thread it says the US b2 visa got rejected due to Canada PR visa applied from home country.. Here it applies to me as well...Really scared ...

There is no proof that it was directly due to them not having a valid PR card. The fact that they weren’t actually planning on visiting the US likely had something to do with not getting a U.S. visa.

It’s impossible to know exactly what would lead to a U.S. visa approval. Getting a U.S. visa because you want to try to enter Canada via a land border is likely not a great reason to grant a visitor visa. In general to get a U.S. visitor visa you should show younplan on visiting the U.S.
