Rescheduling Citizenship Ceremony - What's the delay ?

the point I was making is that government agencies have very poor customer service and treat everyone without any kind of compassion - your personal circumstances don't matter to them.

Ever seen ANY government showing these traits?

If government services (worldwide) were to operate based on people’s personal situation and comfort, operations would be chaotic and totally dysfunctional. In developing countries, usually when civil servants are “accommodating”, inefficiencies and corruption are also rampant. I have managed a lot of international projects for multilateral organizations and experience this firsthand.
Well developed bureaucracies are efficient and make the process fairer for everyone

Rescheduling any government related work is usually disastrous. My wife and daughter had their interview/test on Dec 11. Coincidentally, my daughter’s friend and her parents were also scheduled on the same day in Mississauga. Everyone cleared the test/ interviews; congratulations were flying around.
A couple of days later, my wife got a call that some papers needed signature that were missed. Apparently they have to sign an undertaking that all information is true. She went and signed that. Again, the officer said congratulations, all is good. Website says decision made, but no notification for oath.
What is irritating is that, the friends who had the test on the same day, had their oath this morning.
