require proof of paper application for pgwp extension

Hi everyone,

I applied on paper for extension of my work permit which i received until the expiry date of my passport. and now i need a confirmation from the cic that they have received my application which is required to get the license from Ontario. Is there any way that I can get the confirmation. i applied on paper on feb. 18th. I called on the number mentioned on ontario website and discussed the case. also mentioned that i am eligible for work. but he said a confirmation would be required.
