I really hope you're right. As we don't know on what dates they're working, we won't expect any update soon. Hope they will give expected news on our cases. Let the game go on...
I have got my CoPR in November as you can see my timeline. I have few questions.
First of all thanks to this forum & its senior/start/champion member for your help, without which this feat wouldn't have been possible.
Myself & my wife are a bit skeptical about soft landing. We have some business back here in our country(India) but we don't want to delay our travel either. If we plan on soft landing , we have our close friend whose address we can give when we arrive at the airport for PR card delivery. Now having said that, my questions are as follows:
1.How many days of stay is generally advisable before we come back?
2.How will IRCC send photo request? by physical mail or email?
3.Can our friends send our photos on our behalf or can we scan and upload our photos?(basically tell me how the photo request and response process works please)
Many thanks in advance for who ever going to respond.

1. you can literally board the next available flight from airport itself. no such minimum stay needed
2. For kids, the letter comes via postal service. For adults, it comes via email.
3. They toss all applications in the air, those landing on the desk get PR Card approved and those falling on the floor get photo requests Joking apart, there is just no logic behind these photo request. Yes you can keep a pair of fresh photos with your friend and your friend can dispatch the photos when CIC requests. The photos have to be in printed form as per specifications so you can not provide soft copy to IRCC.
