I never received an email from CIC to notify me that my photos were received or that my card was sent to production. I tried checking the status using the Client Application Status webpage (https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do?app=ecas&lang=en) to no avail.

We have verified the information you provided and we were not able to locate your photographs in the system yet.
However, rest assured that this situation is normal since the responsible office is currently processing photo retakes received before December 10, 2018.
This is normal. till now they are processing the pictures recieved on 28 Decembre as I saw in other pages. so they still not updated profiles with pictures recieved after this date
Here I will share my frustrating and long PR card experience which hasnt ended yet
Landed Aug 21st 2018
First photo rejection letter received Oct 15
New photos sent Oct 19
Second photo rejection letter Dec 7
New photos received Dec 31st
Ghost update Today Feb 15
Also today I got another (third) photo rejection letter
So I called CIC and the agent said my card is in production (???)I told him that I also got a rejection letter. Then he is also not sure if my photos are good or not so he is making a request to processing centre for clarification. He also mentioned that if your photos are rejected 3 times then they would 'find another solution' instead of letting you keep sending new photos (which I hope none of you guys would have to experience this)
So what happens now is he said I should wait for one month. If I dont receive my pr card or get an update from them, I should call back again to ask.
Dont be scared, they dont work in an roganized way. Somtimes People with recived pictures on 10 are pocessed before previous dates, they take a range of dates like a week just wait or to be sure sedn tem a webform to get update and be sure

Some people got the email and some others no. but even if you get the email, when yyou check in the profile there is nothing
you have to keep checking and one day you will see Approved then you will have to wait for the card to arrive

I just called them and the lady said: your card is in the production and you will see updates within a couple of days.
she didn't give any timeline for the production I don't know how long to receive the card?
