Request from CIC

Hi

I want to know which request comes first from the CIC office. Is it medical request or police clearance certificate request?

I submitted spousal sponsorship application and so far I have received a medical request, which was done and they have received it. I sent in the police clearance certificate along with the package.

So what next after medical exam? Any one knows?

It can vary in order and some people dont get all or any of these. Possibly..
- Medical results received
- Medical passed
- File transfer email (telling you which VO your app is going to)
- AOR2 (many dont get this)
- Background check in process

At any point you may receive a request for further proof/information.

Thank you for your reply. But what I wanted to ask is, after you pass the medical exam and they have received it, is there still a possibility that they can request for police record?

I already sent the police record though with the application package and my wife has done the medical, they received the medical and mentioned on our gckey account that she has passed the medical exam.

I assume now they would not ask for the police certificate again or would they? are they unpredictable like that?

I was asked for police certs and medical in the same email.
After both had been don, I was asked for another police cert that they didn’t ask for in the first request.
From everything I’ve read in here, it can be quite random.
