I recently took the IELTS Exam and while booking the test online they asked if English was my first language which I replied yes, I received my IELTS certificate with "1st Language written on it"
But the french TEF Canada doesn't mention any first or seconde language on the certificate. Can I swap the french test and put it as my first language? I've spent 30 years in France and UK equally.
Here are my result:
IETLS
Speaking: 8.5
Reading: 6.5
Writing: 7.5
Listening: 7.5

Did you mean using French as your First Language in your express entry profile? Yes you can choose whichever language you want as your first language in your express entry profile. The only requirement is that you should score at least CLB 7 in your first language. For your second question I don’t think it does matter.
