Hi friends, I am an international student in Ontario. My study permit and visa will be expired 30th Sept this year. Now I proceed my study in Ontario for another program, so I need to extend my permit and visa. People are telling me that by applying extend permit online, I probably need to wait for three months, but I need my permit and visa to go back to my home country during Christmas. Someone advised me to go to Buffalo that I can get both my visa and permit within a day. Is it any risk for me if I go to Buffalo to renew the permit a week prior to expiration? I have a valid US visa.
