Hi, can anyone tell me that is it possible to renew my expired pr card with a expired passport? Has anyone renewed with expired passport?

Yes, but renewing a passport also requires a non expired pr card

I'd suggest reading the instructions: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...-renewal-change-gender-identifier.html#5445E4

"A copy of one of the following primary identity documents:

  • your valid passport or travel document or
  • the passport or travel document you had when you became a permanent resident (if applicable, include the passport page that was stamped when you arrived in Canada and became a permanent resident) or
  • the certificate of identity or travel document issued by the Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada or a foreign country"

Thank you, I was just curious because there was someone in another forum saying that their application got reverted because they said that their primary document was expired.

I don't know about that. Perhaps it was not the original passport with which they had landed, as the instructions say.
