I have one question. Is there a possibility that on re-evaluation, the score could decrease?
For instance, I am having a score of 7 in writing (was aiming for 7.5+). I will submit for re-evaluation. But, is it possible that the score decreases? I would hate to have that as the outcome.

Guys, what happens to online results when we apply for EOR?
Last time I applied, I received the final decision in ONE week. But, my online results never got frozen!

Applied for EOR - Received my result in less than 7 days - No Change.
6.5 -------->6.5
Listening 8.5
Reading 8.5
Speaking 8.5
Writing 6.5
-------
I tend to never blame others. So I can't say much about if it's a good or bad idea. Let's think they will us what we really deserve.
My advice is sitting for another test rather than doing EOR.
EOR is not cheap compared to taking another test. But, sometimes we can't imagine ourselves sitting for another test, taking possible risks of getting even lower scores.
------
The bottom line; success in EOR is no more than 50-50. Examiners are NOT bunch of drunk people. Like any human, they're prone to making mistakes but once in a while, up to around 0.5.
Sitting for another test, however, gives you the upper hand if you've already scored 7.5+ in your previous tests.
But , sometimes I do feel they are a bunch of drunk people as recently my friend’s writing scores increased from 6.5 to 8
, and another friend’s 6 to 7
Go for an EOR only if you are 100% confident about your essay! Make sure u have covered all the criteria while penning down ur essay like coherence, vocabulary etc
My first attempt
L8 R8 W6.5 S7.5
I was very confident about my writing skills but when I applied for an eor it took me about 5 weeks to get my result with no change in marks!
Gave ielts a second try n my writing jumped to 7!
Tnx!
A month ago I got
Listening - 8.5
Reading -8.5
Writing - 6.5 (NO CHANGE)
Speaking - 8.5
Well, my writing was 50-50. I didn't complain, cuz I was not sure.
But this time:
I got 8.5 8 7.5 6.5 -
Although I got lower marks in Listening and Speaking, I'm pretty sure my writing was a band 7.5 essay. I've scored 7+ in my previous attempts and know how it should be.
i got 9/9/7/6.5
6.5 in speaking in which i never scored below 7 and luckily in my 9th attempt i scored 7 i writing for the third time.
in speaking test this time, i stopped speaking cue card before 2 mins and wind it up and there was a silence for 7-8 seconds but other sections went extremely well
may be i lagged behind because of cue card
should i go for revaluation?

Yes, you can go for revaluation. I also got stuck on cue card and there was silence for about 10 seconds. But my rest of the exam went pretty well. I got 7.5 anyway.
I got 9,9,7,7..
Might seem to be a good score, but my crs is 435 at this moment.
I WONT write this exam again, i am completely frustrated.
Before this score my CRS was 384 , and now 435 - i personally feel there isnt any difference between both the scores!!
And the score will dip to 430 after my birthday in June!!
So i am thinking to reevaluate writing and speaking - my last try with IELTS.
But i am worried if they will reduce my score??
