i have tried both - IDP is better with the scores i have. I would say stick to CBT, a lot easier.

I need advice from all experience people here. I score L9 R8.5 W6.5 S8.5.. Need .5 more in writing, but read somewhere that, one shall not apply for re-checking, if there is a difference of more than 2 bands in other sections. Kindly advice, if i shall go for the same or not ?

Its a myth about 2 band difference goes for secondary check. I had 8.5 in Listening and 6.5 in writing and on applying EOR on Jan 2019 got my scores changed to 7. So I don't think if this 2 band recheck happens all the time. If you are confident about ur writing, do take your chances with EOR.

I had my EOR for Nov 10 Exam and my scores were L8 R8 W6.5 S7. Unfortunately, my EOR result was unchanged. I cracked the exam recently and it was on Feb 9. So, IELTS journey ended finally!!

My whole life and career depends on this 0.5 points and earlier two times was also stuck by 0.5-1 band in only one module , but different each time.

I am not sure about IDP india, but for BC they count 4 weeks once they accept the documents. (Mine is also for EOR and documents were accepted on 11th September.)
We are on same boat...

Before this, I had applied EOR once in Thailand they revert back with updated result within 2 weeks...!

It’s been 21 days and BC team still not have any updates, I know it’s a silly question, does a dealy in EOR can be positive?

same here just because of 0.5 less in writing my score is 395 and if EOR is positive it will be 440
