I wrote the 1st Dec 2018 BC IELTS exam. I got
Listening 9
Reading 9
Writing 6.5
Speaking 7.5

I plan to submit my EOR on Monday 17th. Abit Skeptical now cos i read that if the difference in scores is greater than 2 there is usually an automatic re evaluation. Do you think i should give the re evaluation a try?

I would suggest you to go for it. You have very good scores in other modules. I would highly doubt that you prepared well in all three modules except Writing module.

Should I give for revaluation as I need 7 in writing or else my score is tanking by 50 and I come to a score of 420, with which I can not apply.

I have the same score, I have applied for EOR. In my previous attempt, I scored 8.5 in writing (I knew that I messed up in reading and scored 6.5); therefore I could not believe that I scored 6.5 in this attempt, when I have 8.5 in both listening and reading and 7.5 in speaking. Though, I was not hoping for 8.5 but I hoped for at least 7.0.

In my opinion, if money is not a huge issue for you and if you have scored 7.0+ in your previous attempts (if any) OR if you have any teacher who evaluated your IELTS writing and gave you 7.0+, I would recommend you that you should go for it. As rafal mentioned in one of the above posts, almost everyone is getting 0.5 increase these days.

Also, if you think that you wrote essay and letter (especially essay) in the IELTS format, with relevant examples, over word counts and correct conclusion. You should go for it.

Also, I have gone through almost every page of this forum and realized that out of 10 people, 6-7 people got their band increased.

Is the EoR rate only 6500? It is 9500 if I'm not mistaken.

I received my TRF on the 14th and submitted back along with the EOR application for Writing Module.

Process takes about 2-4 weeks at the most in Qatar unlike before (10-12 weeks)

Do you think that there is a chance that my W6.5 will increase to W7.0?

If this works out of luck, my CRS Score will shoot up to 465

There are always chances if you felt like you did a better job. Try to watch the advanced writing videos on ieltsliz.com as they helped me achieve 7.5 band in writing with very little prep.

What is your desired score?
If you are aiming for 8777 for Canada PR Express Entry, I suggest you to retake the test, as with your current scores, EOR wont help for achieving 8777.
