Hello, As you appeared from noida, May I know what is the location of IELTS test in noida? Do they conduct test in greater noida?
I am planning to register for IELTS and nearest location to my town is noida or delhi. I need an idea about the location so that I can plan about the travel. looking forward for your reply.
At my time location in Noida for LWR was some stardom hall I guess.. In the buildings right at the begining of NOIDA, on DND, when you are coming from Delhi.
For speaking it was some hotel in Sector 18.
Hope it helps.
All the best.
tried ielts twice, and my writing is stuck at 6.5. any tips on how to get the core better?
also i have created a group in whatsapp to share your experience and doubts regarding canada immigration. The below is the link. Feel free to join. And please, dont post any spams/ forwards in it.
Even I appeared from BC Patiala on 7 July with LRWS score 8.5, 7.5, 6, 7. I am also planning for EOR as I have scored 7 band in writing earlier. If u r confident with ur writing, go ahead with EOR else appear again.
Wow this is my 3rd attempt this year and it reads
L: 8.5
R: 7.5
S: 8
W: 6.5
Please kindly advise me whether I should go for a remarking because I really feel like I met all the ielts requirements for atleast a 7 band. I'm just devastated.
I too, like most friends here, was in a dilemma whether to apply for revaluation. Wrote 3 times
My marks were
1st Attempt
L/R/W/S
7.5/8/8.5/6
I was really disappointed at this result, but after going through forum comments decided against revaluation
2nd Attempt
7.5/8/6.5/8
This time took at hit on writing. Then I noticed it is Listening score which is causing larger jumps in CRS than others.
May be I am wrong.
Hence 3rd attempt
8/8/6.5/8
This result is actually funny, I thought, because I was pretty much sure that I screwed up listening. But I thought I did well in writing.
This time I attempted for revaluation. The writing score changed from 6.5 to 7.5 and they refunded my money back.
In summary, if your gut feeling says that you did well but got lesser marks - This is in the case of writing and speaking - Then just go revaluation.
All the best to those are attempting IELTS and/or are thinking of revaluation.

I only needed a 0.5 in the EOR of my writing to push my score, and went for it, and got the score I needed (and applied for a refund). If you're confident with how you did on your speaking, then definitely submit an EOR!
Hello all...
I am posting this to motivate people who are thinking about EOR.
I am following this forum from quite a long time...and was studying the success stories of others....
Which kept me going even after alot many hurdles...
There were times when i used to think..when i will put such kind of post.
So with gods grace...time has come.
And here ends my IELTS journey
My Previous LRWS 8.5 8 6.5 7
NEW LRWS 8.5 8 7 7
If u are confident
Keep going
Dont loose hope...
U will nail it.
