I got my results from BC Today and it is really frustrating. I got 7 for Writing in my previous attempt. I like to apply for EOR in writing and Could any one please guide me the process of EOR in India.

I think it will affect your score. You have to use the CRS calculator to check your score. I will advise you improve your English and take another test. A score of 7 and above is very realistic and achievable.

If you can get 7.5 in W before, chances are that you will get an increase which may either be 0.5 or 1. However an increase of 0.5 is more common. I will advise you to go for EOR if you are confident, while you also prepare adequately for your exams on June 30th.

I would still advise you to aim to score very high. Applying for EOR is a matter of chance, it also depends on how confident you are about your writing. How did you practice your writing, did anyone (a teacher or expert) assess you, what was their assessment.

Hi Guys,

I gave my IELTS on 24th March and got 9987 (LRSW). I got busy in work and could not apply for EOR. Can i still apply for it? Is there any timeline within which one needs to apply?

i was told last date for EOR for 24march test is May 7th Monday.. but please check with your center and update us also..

Please go for EOR if you are confident. However, you must note that there is no guarantee that your score would change.

Yes i took tuton classes n this was my second attempt n still i only got 5.5 whereas in other modules i got 6.5 n above.. can EoR increase my Writing score 0.5 ?

Can a person apply for EOR without the original TRF ?, If no, then how did you manage to get the original TRF today only?

I just called my test center regarding the eor they said they are about to post my result and upon request they did not post it and i collected the trf in person

I appreciate your saying, but I'm not looking for CRS, I'm just looking forward for my admission abroad. I just want to meet the criteria of 6 bands in each module and 6.5 overall. But by applying for EoR, will I get a .5 increment in speaking and writing modules? Or shall I just apply for the Writing module, because if in case my speaking bands goes up but then there will be no use, since my writing would be 5.5, but I am okay with 6.5 speaking, have met the criteria. So, should I just go for the rechecking of writing? Or should I apply for both? Please help

Does we have to courier documents.

You have to courier the EOR form along with the original TRF and a demand draft. It will cost somwhere around INR 6500. You’ll get an email/text as an acknowledgement.

Well, I'm getting crazy with IELTS

Feb 2018: L 7.5 R 8.5 W 7.5 S 7 I missed in listening so there is no point in remarking.

April 2018: L 8 R 9 W 6.5 S 7 I am thinking of remaking but didn't decide yet.

Is it a gambling game!
