Hi, I applied EOR on 10 th sep, Idp India, chennai. i called Idp head office in chandigarh today and they said that the eor is in progress and it will take another 8 to 10 days.its been delayed for several people i guess ...

Need some advice took IELTS on 28th September with L-8.5 R-7.0 W-6.5 S-9.0 I'm only 0.5 away from scoring the 8777 criteria what are my odds of doing an EOR and getting the 6.5 turned to a 7.0 considering that I have a 9.0 in speaking? how does the EOR work?

It completely depends on the examiner who evaluates the essay and how well you wrote. SPEAKING score has got nothing to do with writing score. I have seen people with 9 band in LRS and still got 6.5 even after EOR in writing.

Hey guys,

I wrote the IELTS for the third time. The results are as follows:

L-8
R-6.5
S-7.5
W-7

Should I apply for EOR? I read that it is very rare for IDP to change the reading score in EOR. Anyone here has a positive experience on reading EOR?

I took the exam on 30th SEP in Chennai IDP (computer-delivered). Anyone here took the exam on the same day?

PS:
The last section of the reading section described an artistic girl who died in poverty.

If, you're confident that you wrote letter in prescribed format and style and if after your introduction and before conclusion, you had wrote 3 paragraphs, each with different central idea, few vocabs and wrote 1-2 complex sentences, you should go for EOR.
