I heard BC takes more time in some cases up to 2 months recently for an EOR.

When I applied, they informed me that it would take from 2 - 21 days. Other times they say 2 - 28 days.
It is weird because one would only wait for 5 days for the actual CDT to be marked Also, the computerized version does not involve (I guess) any physical shipping of the exam paper.

I am not sure why that much time ? discouraging candidates is not a good strategy if they cannot take a blame on the business for their staff did mess in first instance.

I wonder if or what has happened legally or even officially to BC or IDP staff for devaluations they conducted.

When I confronted them day before yesterday that it is computer delivered so why EoR is taking this much time. His words were that they send EoR to examiners by courier only, even for CBT. Such a waste of technology.

Exactly... Speaking 8 won't increase your CRS score anyways. But 7 in writing will definitely do. I believe they give candidates borderline marks especially in writing purposely.
What would a 6.5 represent in a General IELTS writing? It should be either a 7 or a 6.

the only reason I opted for Speaking is because I lost trust in the local IDP examiners and would only love to see what evaluation is done on my speaking in IDP Australia.

Just a video on Asad Yaqub's channel (Ielts trainer on Youtube). Two people from India applied for EOR in December 2018 and got their results in Jan 2019. They wanted to give their awareness of EOR. One of the guy's band changed from 5 to 7 in speaking, and others writing improved from 5 to 6.5. I am in shock how the scores are being scored by local examiners..

EOR Acknowledged 29th April 2019

Called them on 21st day, at which they informed that they take 28 days for processing.
