do you get confirmation email after submitting eor? in my case, a security guard was sitting at idp's office who collected all my docs including 9500 rupess fees.
this happened 6 hours back and i have not received any acknowledgement email... a bit worried because of that...

U haven't applied for re-evaluation before? In the last two attempts u required only 0.5 band increase, why dint you go for re-evaluation?

No I didn’t tried it before because many informed me that score doesn’t change so I thought it was better to reappear

L - 8.0
R - 9.0
W - 7
S - 6.5
Overall - 7.5

I have decided to go for EOR. Though i just need re-marking in speaking, I am considering to reevaluate writing section as well just to double the chances for getting refund of EOR fees. Will it delay the EOR process?

Mine is somewhat similar case as of yours, I need 0.5 in W but I have applied EOR today for both W & S just to secure the chances to get the refund.
Gurugram head office representative told me that it would take similar time to get one or all sections re-checked.
So I guess it wont cause any delay!

Hello,

I wanted to share my story of remarking. I appeared for IELTS on 21st April through IDP India at Lucknow location. Result was announced on May 4th and below is the break down of the score i got.

L-8.5
R-9
W-7
S-6.5

Now i was not very satisfied with Speaking 6.5, and i have a reason because i appeared in IELTS 4 times before and scored 7.5 consistently in speaking with native speakers in US. But when i took speaking in India, i was super confident that i will score 7.5 or above.

As a result, i applied for EOR, below is the EOR timeline;

EOR submitted (S, W): 5/14
EOR ack email: 5/16
Result declared: 5/31
EOR Refund received: 6/1
TRF rec by post: 6/2

On 6/2 i found that speaking changed from 6.5 to 7.5, finally my journey for IELTS ends here.

True may be possible, but before i was always scoring low in W-6.5. I felt that i have done something wrong, so i did not.
