Hello,

Little background information, I have already submitted spousal visa application for my wife. On November 3rd, 2016, I got my SA and now I am thinking about applying for a visitor visa for my wife. I just want to give it a shot.

My question is, say my visitor visa application gets refused, does it have any negative effect on my wife's spousal visa approval?

Thank you

No - a refusal will not have a negative impact on your spousal sponsorship application. Go ahead and apply for the TRV. Good luck - hope you get it.
