Regarding Visitor Visa

Hi,

My partner came to Canada on Visitor Visa and we got married. His 6 month stay will end in January. We are planning to travel outside Canada for our honeymoon during December holidays. If he exists and returns with me could he stay longer, i.e., for the next 6 months and leave in May or June?

I want him to stay with me since I live alone in Canada. Appreciate any suggestion to help me understand how he could stay with me in Canada while his application will be processed from inside Canada under family category.

Yes he can, because he exited so the previous stay has resetted, when he re-enter, another 6 months begins
