Regarding Police verification from India for stay in Untied States

Hi,

I was in Dallas for about 8 months and then in Illinois for 2 years ( all within last 4 years). I came back to India recently. Does anyone know the process of getting the Police verification certificate for Illinois and Texas from India please?

I assume since I have stayed more than 6 months at each location, I will have to get the PCC from India (before and after my US travels) and also from TX and IL, right?

Appreciate all the help with this as I could not find any conclusive information.

You do not get certificates from each state it is at a country level so you apply to the FBI. Instructions here on the IRCC site if your application requires a certificate having spent 6 months or more in a row in the US
